Patch is probably the naughtiest dog in the world. He enjoys all sorts of mischief, whether it is frightening the postman (very loud bark for such a little puppy), chewing the carpet corners, or sneaking upstairs and sleeping on one of the double beds. Even though he is only a puppy he behaves as if he was a big fearsome dog, stalking butterflies in the garden, growling at spiders, leaping on the longsuffering cats when they are trying to have a nap.
He wasn't always this full of beans. A few months ago he went through a lethargic phase. Nothing exactly wrong, but he just seemed a bit tired. The vet diagnosed probable vitamin B deficiency.
Patch's owner took the precaution of putting the little dog on a general vitamin and mineral supplement. "I thought it for the best" said Patch's owner. "Nature intended dogs to hunt their food in the wild and eat it fresh, bloody and raw. We have taken dogs out of the natural environment, domesticated them, and given them highly processed food where the quality of meat is often highly suspect. The least we can do is make sure they get a multi-vitamin that will close any gaps in their nutritional intake. I've certainly seen the results. Patch has never been so full of life!"
