WOULD YOU FORGET YOUR HEAD
IF IT WASNT SCREWED ON?
A familiar saying and most of us will
recognise that the frequency of its use increases, as we get
older. Unfortunately, as we age the physical changes in our
body mean we may experience memory loss. However, there are
several ways that we can help to cheat the ageing
process.
1) KEEP A DIARY/MAKE
A LIST Write down your every movement.
2) EXERCISE - A new hobby will help improve your mood and
your capacity to learn.
Exercising the brain mentally may also help.
3) DIET Proper diet and nutrition are vital.
4) MEDICATION Check your prescription does not cause
memory problems.
5) MNEMONICS Use as many of the best functions of your
brain as possible.
Associate words with images, smells, tastes and emotions to
help you remember.
